Dr. Scott Kajer
Dr. Scott Kajer received a B.A. degree from the University of St. Thomas in 1980. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 1984. Dr. Kajer joined Maplewood Dental Associates in 1989.
Dr. Kajer enjoys working closely with his patients through all phases of family dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and the St. Paul District Dental Society. He also does volunteer dentistry through the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center.
Dr. Kajer and his wife, Marianne, live in Saint Paul with their four boys. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and watching his sons’ sporting events.
Dr. Annika Simon
Dr. Annika Simon has joined our dental team as of March 2010. Dr. Simon graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000 and from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in June of 2005.
Dr. Simon’s interest in dentistry began at an early age; her father is still a practicing dentist in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. After growing up in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Dr. Simon moved permanently to Minnesota in 2001. She currently resides in St. Paul with her husband, John, and their two small children. When she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family, learning to play the guitar, and reading.
Dr. Michael Splett
Michael Splett is a family dentist who has a passion for creating healthy and beautiful smiles. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota and has been in practice at Maplewood Dental Associates since 2001.
Dr. Splett enjoys learning about the latest advances in dentistry. He has focused his continuing education on cosmetic dental procedures, children's dentistry, root canal therapy, and the replacement of missing teeth.
Dr. Splett and his wife, Jennifer, have two children and live in Mahtomedi. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, boating, and playing golf.
