Dr. Michael Splett is a committed Maplewood family dentist with years of experience treating people of all ages. He joined the Maplewood Dental Associates team as one of our dentists in 2001 and quickly became part of the family. Dr. Splett was drawn to the dental field because of his passion for creating healthy and beautiful smiles. To pursue his dream, he went to the University of Minnesota, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Splett enjoys continuing his education by staying up to date on the latest advances in dentistry. He commits time to learning more about advances in cosmetic dental procedures, children’s dentistry, root canal therapy, and replacing missing teeth. Currently living in Mahtomedi, Dr. Splett spends his time away from the office with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children. He also enjoys fishing, boating, and playing golf during his free time.
Dr. Matthew Kajer received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of St. Thomas. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree and Certificate of Public Health from the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Upon graduation, Dr. Matthew returned home to join the team at Maplewood Dental.
Dr. Matthew is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, St. Paul District Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He also enjoys volunteering with events such as Give Kids a Smile Day and Mission of Mercy, as well as others. Dr. Matthew stays current on the latest dentistry advancements through various continuing education courses, so you can trust you will receive the most up-to-date care. Dr. Matthew is happy to be home practicing with everyone at Maplewood Dental.
Dr. Matthew Kajer and his wife, Moira, live in Saint Paul. They have a son, Dominic, and a French bulldog named Louie. He enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time at the cabin when he’s not at work.
Dr. Siara Elovich (also known as “Dr. Zee”) has known since elementary school that she wanted to become a dentist to help people feel more confident about their smiles. Through many years of school, her love for the profession grew as she learned of the important role oral health plays in improving the health of the rest of the body.
Dr. Elovich grew up in Stillwater, MN, and spent most of her time in Maplewood, where she competed in dance with a local studio. She then moved to Washington, DC, to attend college and obtain her Bachelor of Science in Biology at American University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 2012 and, following dental school, completed a General Practice Residency at Fairview Hospital.
Dr. Zee and her husband, Kevin, live in Mahtomedi with their feline family members and their boys, Mac and Link. When she’s not at work, she loves yoga, cooking, hiking, and traveling to fun and interesting places.
Dr. Hannah Juettner grew up in Louisville, KY. She attended the University of Louisville for her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Doctorate of dental medicine degree. She then moved to Albuquerque, NM, where she completed a one-year residency in advanced dental education at the University of New Mexico, where she got advanced training in pediatrics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
Dr. Juettner knew from a very young age that she wanted to get into dentistry. As she pursued her dream, she grew to love the art of dentistry and creating strong relationships with her patients. She treats her patients like family and strives to provide the most advanced and long-lasting dental work. She understands how the dental chair is not everyone’s favorite place, so she tries to make the experience as painless and pleasant as possible. You can find her training for a triathlon, reading, gardening, or baking something sweet when she is not in the office.
