The first visit to our office marks a new beginning for your smile, but we understand that it can be a bit stressful starting something new, in a new place with new people. That’s why we want to make your first appointment as smooth and relaxing as possible. We’ve put together more information about what you can expect below, so you can get a better idea of what the beginning of your new smile journey will be like.

What To Expect At Your First Visit

unnamed-6When you first walk into our office, the first thing that we want to do is get to know more about you, so we can make sure we provide you with the precise treatment that you need. We’ll have you fill out a few new patient forms, which give us some basic information like your medical history to help us plan your treatment later. Of course, since we’re getting to know you, we want you to get to know us, so you’ll get introduced to our dental staff as well and our talented team of dentists who you will be working with.

Once we’re acquainted with each other, your first appointment will begin, which typically takes anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. During this time, we’ll be taking some X-rays and high-quality images of your mouth to get a better understanding of the current state of your oral health. From there, your dentist will outline a personalized treatment that is recommended so you get the smile that you want. We also encourage you to ask any questions or share any concerns that you might have about your treatment, which is why we may add on some time to your appointment to make sure we can give you all of the answers you’re looking for. We’re your partners on this journey with your new smile, so open communication and trust is a priority for us to ensure you get the most comfortable dental care.

What You Need For Your Appointment

As we mentioned above, we will have you fill out some new patient forms for your first appointment. However, if you would rather fill out your forms beforehand you can fill them out online. For all new patients, we require that you fill out a New Patient Registration and a Medical History form. If you are transferring to our office from a different dental practice, we recommend completing a Record Release Form so we can get access to things like previous X-rays and scans from your old dentist.
