At Maplewood Dental Associates, we understand the importance

Dr. William Johnson |
 |
Dr. William Johnson graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1959, and began practicing dentistry with his father,
Dr. Oscar Johnson, on Payne Avenue in St. Paul. He moved to our current location in Maplewood in 1973. Dr. Johnson truly enjoyed practicing
dentistry and appreciated the privilege of serving each and every patient.
As of March 2007, he has officially retired. Dr. Bill will be greatly missed by his many loyal patients and staff at Maplewood Dental Associates.
We wish him many happy, healthy years, as he is kept busy with his family (wife Vi, four children and his grandchildren) and his many activities
and interests.
We hope to see him often, as he will always be an important part of Maplewood Dental Associates. |

Dr. Richard Prokosch |

Dr. Richard Prokosch received a B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of Minnesota and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1968.
Upon graduation Dr. Prokosch spent two years in the US Navy Dental Corps. He then practiced dentistry on St. Paul's east side for three years
before joining Maplewood Dental Associates in 1973 as one of the original doctors.
Dr. Prokosch grew up in the White Bear Lake area where he now resides with his wife Sharon and their two sons. His free time is spent golfing,
fishing and traveling. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association and the St. Paul District Dental
Association. He also does volunteer dentistry at the Union Gospel Mission. |

Dr. Scott Kajer |

Dr. Scott Kajer received a B.A. degree from the University of St. Thomas in 1980. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from
the University of Minnesota in 1984. He joined Maplewood Dental Associates in 1989.
Currently Dr. Kajer enjoys working closely with his patients
through all phases of family dentistry. His free time is actively spent with his wife Marianne and their four boys.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and the St. Paul District Dental Society. He also does volunteer
dentistry through the Minnesota Job Corps. |

Dr. Michael Splett |

Dr. Michael Splett is a White Bear Lake native, graduating from high school in 1991.
He received his B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and went on to earn his D.D.S. degree from the U of M-Twin Cities.
Since graduating from the School of Dentistry in 2001, Dr. Splett has been in practice at Maplewood Dental Associates.
Dr. Splett and his wife Jennifer have two children and live in the Mahtomedi area. |
